Not a bad little collection of amusing money facts! It would have gathered at least 20,000 page views on Yahoo! or BusinessInsider.

I was particularly interested in the number of U.S. communities with their own “currencies”. I understand why Walt Disney World would do this, or closed communities like colleges or universities. That is more like tokens for value, rather than currency.

How can there be multiple currencies in the U.S.? Isn’t there only one form of legal tender, the U.S. dollar? What do people buy in Berkshire, MA or Ithaca, NY with their own currencies that they can’t or don’t want to buy with U.S. dollars? I am very curious, if you’d be willing to do a follow-up post, or provide a URL link to your source of information.

Yes, that was a huge loss, and I heve never seen such desastrous thing in my whole 27 years, you could see everything was floodingm waving even cars, houses, boats, buses, may god give them peace in heaven,

on the other fact market will surely get effected due to japans economy and a weaker yen can make do much of difference as euro is already flying higher to se 1.4300 approxx area, lets wait and see what this monday brings, but the loss of lives, m really sorry for them.
